Cadillac Settles For Rogue With Its New Luxury Car Advertisement
Cadillac, General Motors‘ returning luxury brand, has Rogue to help not only in launching the next-generation CTS sedan this coming fall but also in promoting Caddy’s push into foreign markets.
Rogue, a new agency consorting three agencies under the Interpublic Group,is specifically created for Cadillac which also brings together resources from the three existing agencies – Hill Holiday, Lowe and Partners and Campbell-Ewald.
Last year, Cadillac sold about 150,000 cars in the United States. Currently, Cadillac’s sales are up to thirty-eight percent with the help of the new compact ATS. However, some of those sales have contributed to the expense of the CTS. As mention before, this fall GM will launch a redesigned CTS which is larger but lighter for a better performance and fuel economy.
GM wants to make Cadillac into an international brand and contend head to head with German luxury brands such as BMW. Also, GM hired Fleishman Hillard, public relations firm, to assist for better communications and gain new customers in luxury, fashion and technology.
According to Forbes,
“We selected Rogue because its strategic insights, creative vision for Cadillac and strong luxury and automotive experience were the best match for our global growth plan,” said Bob Ferguson, vice president of Global Cadillac.

Surely, it depends to Rogue to make sure the brand-new CTS is a success. So what do you think, yay or nay?
