Launch Party of Le Gemme
Bulgari, the Italian luxury brand known for their jewelry, fragrances, watches, accessories, and hotels, kicked off a new line on Wednesday. Bulgari hosted a fabulously sleek party, inviting celebrities, VIPs, and L.A. trenders to check out the launch of the new eyewear collection, Le Gemme. (You may remember our post when Fashion Eyewear started stocking an earlier edition of the line.)
The party was stunning, held at the Sunset Tower Hotel. Bulgari had the arranged terrace to look like Rome in 1960. There were several backdrops for photo shoots, but the most popular by far were the “Spanish Steps”. The scene depicted the original Bulgari boutique in Rome with a real Lambretta motor scooter, authentic to the time. Many celebrities, including Cara Santana, Jeannie Mai, and Alexander Ludwig stopped for a selfie on the steps.
The Vintage DJ got guests dancing and having a good time with music and tunes inspired from the 1960s era. Of course drinks were served – Prosecco and other Italian-themed cocktails were readily available and totally delicious. Guests browsed all the new collections: Diva and Serpenti lines were on display along side Le Gemme.
Bulgari decided to apply their knowledge of luxury jewelry and accessories when designing the Le Gemme eyewear line. It is composed of jewel-encrusted frames, both prescription and sunglass, made with only the highest quality metals and exquisite gemstones. The eyewear collection theme is inspired by the Italian Rivera, producing elegant and timeless frames that speak true for the glamorous Bulgari name.
