Leonardo DiCaprio’s Malibu beach house now only $18.9M
Leonardo DiCaprio bought his Malibu beach house in 2002 for about $6 Million. In May 2012, the “The Great Gatsby” actor put the home up for rental at $75,000 a month and in November 2012, he put it up for sale at $23 Million.
The plush property which sits right on the Malibu beach has been relisted just this month.
According to curbed.com:
A-list actor Leonardo DiCaprio has relisted his Malibu beach house for $18.9M—a $4.1M savings from its previous asking price—in an apparent bid to free up cash for a megapurchase.
Leo’s Malibu property is not just one home but 3 separate units. Together it has 7 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms. The main house has a rooftop terrace, and patio and deck that face the beach.
In addition, the luxury property has spectacular views of the Malibu beach, large floor to ceiling windows, outdoor living spaces, a gym and 2 kitchens.
Why did he relist it with a $4 Million price cut? Rumor has it that Leonardo DiCaprio has his eyes set on Ruper Murdoch’s 4.4-acre hillside Beverly Hills estate worth about $35 Million.
Leo DiCaprio's Malibu beach house has been relisted. From $23M it is now just $18.9M. Do you think this lavish property is a good buy?
