Queen Latifah’s New Jersey estate for sale at just $2.4M
It isn’t uncommon for celebrities to dip their fingers in real estate from time to time but it is not everyday that we find celebrity real estate listed with such a reasonable price tag. Well, Queen Latifah has decided to part with her New Jersey estate for just $2.4 million
According to nydailynews.com:
Queen Latifah is leaving her castle — but only for a princely sum.
The Grammy-winning singer and actor has just listed her six-bedroom New Jersey estate for $2.4 million.
Her highness is selling the 7,000-square-foot manse because she has been spending more time in California since relaunching her eponymous daytime talk show in September.
Queen Latifah purchased the property for $2.14 million in 2001 and she candidly shares that a lot of memories were made in grand mansion. The property is large but it is not overwhelming. Take a look at what the small price tag of $2.4 million comes with:
- 6 bedrooms
- 5 full and 3 half bathrooms
- 4 gas fireplaces (one in the master bedroom, one in the library, one in the home office and one in the living room)
- circular driveway
- 24 feet high grand foyer with a wraparound staircase
- master suite with private veranda, twin walk-in closets and chandelier
- marble master bath with skylight, double sink, soaking tub and glassed-in shower stall
- living room with wall of windows
- olympic-length swimming pool complete with diving board and tented pavillion
- baby grand piano with a New York City skyline, played by Alicia Keys in the Empire State of Mind music video
