Crown Jewel of Cosmetics: MAC x Cinderella

MAC Cosmetics have announced their newest line of makeup in collaboration with Disney’s live production of “Cinderella”! We have our first glimpse at the glitzy 17-piece set. MAC Cosmetics (Make-up Art Cosmetics), the New York based professional cosmetic company has been around since 1991. Originally they only sold to professional makeup studios and artists, but have long since expanded to all consumers of international markets. They got their first hold in the market at Nordstrom, but are now found in many department stores and several official MAC stores.

Recently, MAC had partnered with Disney for the film “Maleficent,” releasing a special line of makeup for the movie as well. You may also remember the Wonder Woman line when MAC collaborated with Warner Bros. In 2011. They also did a knock out job celebrating the 40^th anniversary of “Rocky Horror Picture Show” with a special collection of makeup to transform you into a creature of the night.

The Cinderella set by MAC is luxurious and elegant, and will certainly make you feel like a princess. It is packaged in light blue, reminiscent of the infamous glass slipper. The 17-piece set is made up of elegant eye liners and gloss, posh pigments and powders, sleek lip colors, dreamy shadows, luxe mascara, and plush brushes.

Some of the magnificent pieces include the Fluidline eyeliner in Macroviolet (a smoky violet shimmer), the Glass Slipper lustrous lipglass (a glitzy pink), and the Stroke of Midnight 6 color eyeshadow palette. The palette features the shades Phloof (a fairy dust white), Quarry (a chocolaty plum), Satin Taupe (a glistening nude), Vapour (a perfect pink), Omega (a luscious cream), and its namesake Stroke of Midnight (a deep plum).

Cinderella by MAC will be available online February 26^th and on shelves March 5^th . The Disney production of Cinderella opens in theaters March 13^th, so you’ll have plenty of time to pick up your set before you buy tickets.
