Rendezvous: Jaguar’s first ever Super Bowl commercial stars Brit villains and F-Type coupe
The Super Bowl fever is taking over the world right now and aside from the sport itself, the most talked about aspects are the upcoming halftime show performances and the commercials. This year, the luxury car company Jaguar came up with a much-talked-about ad featuring British villains and their F-Type coupe.
According to hollywoodlife.com:
Ever noticed that in pretty much every Hollywood movie (especially the ones that involve spies), the villains are always British? Famous evil Brits Tom Hiddleston, Ben Kingsley, and Mark Strong finally explain why Brits are so evil in a hilarious new Super Bowl commercial.
The Jaguar ad has been masterfully done as it highlights the style and power of the British villains we love which can similarly be found in the all-new F-Type Coupe. The sleek Jaguar commercial presents some iconic landmarks of London while actors deliver hilarious lines like Tom Hiddleston saying “Stiff upper lip is key”.
The first ever Jaguar Super Bowl commercial was filmed by director Tom Hooper (responsible for The Kings Speech and Les Miserables). The commercial will air in the fourth quarter of the Sunday game and it cost Jaguar around $8 Million for that Super Bowl commercial spot alone.
