Coming Soon: the most luxurious boutique resort in Maldives
Maldives is a place long known for fancy resorts and getaways but it seems the most luxurious one is yet to open in November. Velaa Private Island Resort is not a typical Maldives resort because it will offer ample space and discreet service instead of usual gimmick spots.
According to www.telegraph.co.uk:
The resort will have a mixture of one- and two-bedroom villas and a smattering of four-bedroom residences spread across a private island part of the southern Noonu Atoll. Luxurious features come as standard here, with all rooms having a dedicated butler and private pool; the biggest will have more than 210sq m of living space and their pools will measure a very generous 60sq m.
At about $30,000 (£19,500) per night, guests can also make use of the resort’s exclusive yacht, complete with a chef on board to cater to a quick getaway around the island. Velaa Private Island Resort also has a Teppanyaki restaurant, Clarins My Blend Spa, a golf academy, in-house marine biologist, diving center and a wine cellar with stocks that are worth about £1 million ($1,539,000). Not to be outdone, Velaa even has a signature restaurant which stands over the sea complete with a entertainment lounge and champagne bar, which features menus created by Michelin star chef Adeline Grattard.
