Starwood Hotels is now planning to open new luxury five star hotels such as : Sheraton, Westin and Le Meridien in the city.
According to Business Standard:
We are looking for opportunities for Westin, Sheraton and Le Meridien in Ahmedabad India. We are talking to many people for these brands. For every one actual deal, we have to talk to 20 different partners. Hence, it will take some time to fructify”.

Apart from the the luxury hotel brands, starwood is also looking at bringing into India its four star eco-friendly brand ‘Elements’ hotel. Lately starwood has opened an Aloft hotel in India which will look to attract business and leisure travelers,
