Rosewood is the newest luxury hotel in London

There is never a shortage of luxury in London. And the most luxurious hotels in the city may have a new competition in the Rosewood Hotel, which just opened this October 15.

According to telegraph.co.uk:

It’s more than two decades since Rosewood opened a hotel in London. The distinguished, once all-American brand, operators of the fabled Carlyle in New York and Jumby Bay in Antigua, used to operate The Lanesborough, but it has been a St Regis since 2002. Last week, however, saw the launch of a new hotel, called simply Rosewood London, on High Holborn in what used to be the headquarters of Pearl Assurance.

Rosewood Hotel in London is already grandiose on the outside but the royal look of the 1914 Edwardian Belle Epoque building is complimented by contrasting modern details on the inside.   Here are some details:

  • 262 guestrooms and 44 suites, each with the fanciest details in mouldings, merino jacquard throws and 300 threadcount linens.
  • Czech & Speake toiletries
  • The accommodations, event spaces and public areas designed by Tony Chi and Associates, using lacquer, textured wood veneers and prismatic mirrors.
  • The Grand Manor House Wing has its own private elevator, own street entrance, and it is the only hotel suite in the entire world to have its own postcode.
  • Suite guests have access to The Manor Club, a retreat with personal butler and concierge
  • a Sense® spa, a fitness suite with the latest equipment from Technogym®.
  • 11 event spaces
