Some hotels have large suites and then there are those that are extra grand in terms of size and amenities. Kensington Hotel of the Doyle Collection is about to open the largest townhouse hotel suite in the entire London.

According to irishtimes.com:

The Irish-owned Doyle Collection will open the largest townhouse hotel suite in London later this month in a €500,000 expansion of its four-star Kensington Hotel.

The original Kensington hotel had 149 bedrooms with 34 square meter suites. The suites were furnished with four poster beds and marble baths and the average rate was £500 or about $820 a night.

With the acquisition of the former Barclays Bank building, the Kensington Hotel has been renovated to have three-bedroom suite measuring 180sq m (1,920sq ft). Denis Looby of Sheehan and Barry Architects designed the townhouse hotel suite composed of three interconnecting suites. The work on the ultra-luxe suite started in autumn and was finally finished last December.

Here are the details on the new suite:

• each bedroom suite with its own bathroom facilities
• space includes living room, dressing area, separate dining room and a guest cloakroom
• spaces linked by tall French doors
• 4 meter-high ceilings
• parquet floors
• custom-designed cocktail cabinet
• 1930s Murano chandelier

The new townhouse hotel suite can cost as much as £2,700 or $4,433 a night to rent.
