The California equestrian estate owned by the late media mogul and talkshow host Merv Griffin has been sold for $US7 million.

The 40-acre estate in La Quinta presents a Moroccan-style private compound that includes interiors by the well-known designer Waldo Fernandez. It has a 2.5-acre lake and equestrian facilities including a private racetrack.

Meanwhile,the main residence is 5000 square feet and is composed of two bedrooms. Also, there are four free-standing guest casitas and two guesthouses that are composed of a total of fourteen bedrooms and twelve bathrooms.

The estate offers equestrian facilities with staff quarters and sixteen stalls.

The new owner decides to make the estate open for luxury vacation rentals, events and conferences.

There are many equestrian estate in the world but I guess it wouldn’t hurt to try booking and spending your vacation here, right?
