Sold: The Most Expensive Car in Britain

Having a luxury car is a declaration of your fame, hard work, and prestige. But having the most expensive car… you might as well ready your ears for the oohs and aahs of people lucky enough to see the dream- of- every- car- lover Ferrari.

According to am-online.com:

Tom Hartley, based in Overseal, near Swadlincote, has sold the 1957 Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa to an anonymous buyer.

Beating the old record of most expensive car Ferrari 250 GTO which was sold for £22.5 million in 2012, the rare 1957 Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa was allegedly sold for an eye- popping £24.1 million though Tom Hartley would not confirm this. Albeit Tom confirmed that his car was already bought, he doesn’t want to reveal the buyer’s identity due to “client confidentiality.”

Well, in 2009, the Testa Rossa was also bought  for about £9 million and now, due to it being nearly “extinct,” the price was almost tripled when it was purchased by the late owner. It’s still worth the penny.

Eventhough the  Testa Rossa is already old, it is being still valued because of its wow past, racing for 12 hours of Sebring maneuvered by the legendary Phil Hill, an American F1 World Champion.

Being piloted by a legend is meek way of juctice, the best for the best. Why not when Testa Rossa have a strong V12 engine that makes an immense 300 break horse power. Because of this, the engine was able to have a velocity of about 60 miles per hour at first six seconds and reaches maximum speed of 167 mph.

Try getting out of the way when the Testa Rossa starts the engine.
